We exist to offer hope and healing to former inmates through life skills training so that they may discover God’s original purpose for their lives.
In the midst of a Global Pandemic, a dream was born. Two friends connected and shared a vision for a better life for prisoners. Over coffee, these two gals fleshed out the dream and birthed a ministry beyond their wildest dreams. Captivated By Christ is a ministry that focuses on rehabilitating women being released from prison.
Captivated By Christ, or CBC for short offers a year-long reentry program that is geared towards breaking the cycle of recidivism (the tendency of a convicted criminal to re-offend). They offer a work program, housing program, and faith-based discipleship for emotional and spiritual healing.
CBC is affiliated with Light and Life Church of DuBois, PA, and Found Ministries, a minsitry of Light and Life Church. CBC is registered under the non-profit Found Ministries, and is governed by Found's Board of Directors.CBC's mission is to bring hope, healing, and purpose to prisoners before, during, and after release. They aim to do this through concentrated efforts of classes, personal development and mentoring, and work experience.

In order to finance this new endeavor, CBC has opened a Second Chance Boutique. This Boutique will serve two purposes: first, as a means to bring in revenue for the housing and rehabilitating, and second, to offer a safe and stable space for reformed workers to gain experience after incarceration.
